Buck Jordan

Buck joined the Wavemaker team in July of 2018 and is focused on rapidly scaling up the operations of Wavemaker Labs. Buck has a diverse and unique background that drives his work in the venture space. Prior to Wavemaker, Buck was the founder and Managing Partner of Canyon Creek Capital a top LA-based early-stage fund. Prior to Canyon Creek Capital, Buck served as a Captain and Pilot in the California Army National Guard and held several command positions in which he was responsible for leading up to 120 personnel and supervising up to $400 million in assets and equipment. During his time in the National Guard he served as a tank commander, Blackhawk pilot, Commander and supply chain manager for a Blackhawk Battalion. Buck is a board member of Westside Children’s Center, an institution that provides thousands of at-risk children and their families with critical, high-quality early education programs.
