Shawn is a successful early-stage Angel/Advisor, Stanford entrepreneurship lecturer, former EIR, and Venture Partner (AV8 Ventures). He invested in a long list of startups from inception to acquisition/IPO, including Facebook (IPO), Zuora (IPO), Tenable (IPO), Cohesity ($10B pre-IPO), Pinecone, Armory, LeadIQ, Vectara, MotherDuck, Neon.tech, Omni Analytics and many rapid growth venture scale software startups. Focus areas are data-driven and deep tech B2B startups, from formation to Seed stage. Preference to PhDs and technical/product-driven CEO founders.
