Amit joined Accel in 2016 and works with early-stage teams across a number of consumer, b2b, and developer-oriented categories. Areas of particular focus include fintech and digital health. Previously, Amit was an Accel entrepreneur as the co-founder of CardSpring, where he led engineering for its developer-facing API platform. Twitter acquired CardSpring, where he then led engineering for several of Twitter’s commerce initiatives.

Early employee / General Manager at General Assembly (sold for $412mm 2018) where I launched several product lines and drove both top line revenue and cost improvements, ultimately growing my division from $0 to $30mm+ in 2 years. In 2016, I was named a 40 Under 40 for Tech Diversity in Silicon Valley. I'm passionate about the intersection of learning, entrepreneurship and technology. I invest in the future of income, edtech, fintech, crypto, consumer social and more. My specialities include venture formation, scaling sales and product teams, building culture, managing through uncertainty and growth, identifying go-to-market, and assessing new ventures.
