He is also a board member and instructor at Reforge, which offers selective growth-focused programs for experienced professionals in marketing, product, data, and engineering. Prior to joining a16z, Andrew led the Rider Growth teams at Uber.

Prior to joining a16z, Anish held multiple roles at Credit Karma including the General Manager of Core Product and General Manager of U.S. Card, which he helped scale to over 100MM members and nearly $1B in 2019 revenue. Anish joined Credit Karma in 2015 via the acquisition of Snowball, a notifications startup he founded a year earlier. Prior to creating Snowball, Anish founded SocialDeck, a social-gaming company that was acquired by Google in 2010. He went on to lead various mobile product efforts as well as invest at Google Ventures.

Prior to co-founding A-Star, Gautam served as the COO/CFO at Opendoor, and as Head of Finance at Uber. He also served as a Vice President at Goldman Sachs.

Allyson joined Insight in 2012. Previously, she was a strategy consultant in the markets and customers practice at Monitor Group, where she advised multi-national companies on growth strategy, product innovation, acquisitions, scenario planning and pricing strategy. She worked in a variety of industries including Pharmaceutical, Insurance, and Chemicals. Allyson graduated with high honors from the Huntsman Program in International Studies and Business at the University of Pennsylvania. She is fluent in Spanish.
