54 Collective gives African founders a mix of equity and non-dilutive or low-cost capital—up to $200,000–$500,000 total, including funding under 5% interest—plus hands-on specialist support, and gives women founders an extra $150,000 in non-dilutive capital. Named to reflect all 54 African countries, the fund grew out of Founders Factory Africa into a pan-African team of more than 70 staff across Kenya, South Africa, Nigeria, and the UK, with public goals of backing 105 startups in five years and reaching a portfolio that is over 50% women-founded.
