Alstin Capital grew out of Carsten Maschmeyer’s original ALSTIN I fund and still centers its work around giving B2B software founders hands-on sales expertise and network support after investing, not just money; more than 90% of investors from its last fund reinvested in the new one, and the firm closed Alstin III at €175 million in about four months, well above its original €100 million goal. It invests in software that solves messy operational problems, like payments infrastructure, energy optimization, and expense automation, and points to a track record of more than 300 investments, 150 follow-on rounds, and 25 exits, including companies like Klarna, Blacklane, and Usercentrics.
