PsyMed Ventures grew out of a podcast and community before becoming a fund, and it invests broadly across brain health—covering neurotech, AI-enabled care, psychedelics, and novel modalities like RNA and microbiome approaches—while favoring startups built on human data over animal models. The team combines founders with backgrounds at NVIDIA, Neuralink, Yale Psychiatry, and biotech development, and the fund also runs a program with KdT Ventures to help scientists move from academia into neuro startups.
