Alan MacIntosh has focused on wireless and internet technology since the 1990s, cofounding GSM Capital—the first global venture fund dedicated to wireless—after an international path that took him from engineering training in Edinburgh through INSEAD and Palo Alto to building wireless operations across eight countries before settling in Montréal. He later helped conceive OSMO and Notman House, a shared space designed to help startup founders learn from each other and meet the right people, reflecting his broader focus on building the community and infrastructure that startups grow from, not just funding them.
