Anton Wesener grew up in Bassano del Grappa, Italy, moved to New York believing it offered better opportunities, and built an unusually varied path to venture capital — playing soccer at the NJCAA and Columbia levels (including NJCAA First Team All-America and multiple CUNYAC Player of the Week honors), earning BMCC's Male Scholar-Athlete of the Year award with a 3.92 GPA while working a part-time job in Chelsea, and coming back from a torn LCL without surgery. At IA Capital Group, he grew from analyst to principal within the same firm and now sits on the investment committee while serving as a board observer for PayGround, CompStak, and Driver Technologies.
