Brendan Rogers moved to Silicon Valley in 2011 with just $1,200 from his grandmother, went on to co-found a social discovery app used by over 50 million people before it was bought by IAC, and later co-founded Wag!, the largest pet platform in the US; he named his fund 2am after the middle-of-the-night moments—lawsuits, revenue spikes, pulled term sheets—that he says define a founder's toughest times, and now says he wants to spend the next 25 years talking to Indian founders and investing in the best of them. After first visiting India in 2019, he says his view of the country changed completely, and he's since gotten a Sanskrit tattoo, studies Hindu philosophy, eats biriyani weekly, and writes often on LinkedIn (where he has 263,000 followers) about investing in overlooked Indian industries like automotive, pharma, and logistics as part of what he calls a 30-year wealth creation story.
