Claire grew up in China, moved to Canada at 17, and has worked across North America and Asia, and before joining Eudemian full-time in 2022, she had already spent years there as a venture advisor and board member starting in 2019; she also founded FUUDY, a startup that used machine learning to redistribute food and cut down on waste, an experience that led her to adopt "make potential actual" as a guiding idea after the company struggled to grow at scale. Her path has taken her from digital transformation work at McKinsey and Kearney in China to leading finance and partnerships—including deals with Ant Financial and Tencent—at a Toronto payments startup, and she's since built a public presence that includes a TEDx talk on hunger, writing on topics like AI and blockchain, and a role as a connector who helps bring together business leaders and investors, all while keeping up personal interests like tea and time spent living simply in nature.
