Dr. Chenxi Wang has a code-obfuscation technique named after her called Chenxification, based on her PhD dissertation, and she describes herself as a network builder rather than an empire builder, having co-founded the Forte Group for senior women in infosec and an Open Source Security Index that tracks top security projects on GitHub each month. She also sits on the board of MDU Resources, including its Audit and ESG Committee, giving her a mix of hands-on cybersecurity investing and public company governance experience that few early-stage investors in the field have.
