Emily Meads is a physicist by training, with a bachelor's and two master's degrees in physics plus a further master's in quantum computing, and she has worked across research, startups, and deep-tech commercialization at places like Fraunhofer IZM and Spin Up Science before investing at Speedinvest and now Quantonation. She focuses on helping physics and quantum founders move their work out of the lab and into real use, investing and serving on boards across fields like quantum computing, photonics, and semiconductors, while also speaking about ecosystem building and quantum talent across English, French, and Brazilian Portuguese.
