Envisioning Partners grew directly out of Yellowdog, an early Korean impact-investing pioneer, and built one of the first funds fully dedicated to climate solutions rather than treating climate as just one part of a broader fund, with corporate LPs like Hanwha Solutions and GS Holdings actively helping source deals and scale portfolio companies. The firm also moved away from running a separate women-only fund and instead embedded a gender lens across all its funds, targeting at least 30% of portfolio companies to be women-founded or women-led, while investing across the U.S., Korea, and Singapore in areas like carbon accounting, battery recycling, and direct air capture.
