He personally catalyzed the long-term strategic partnership between Malaysia's sovereign-backed Mavcap and Gobi by proposing they partner directly when initial plans fell through, unlocking the SuperSeed and Meranti funds that later brought Khazanah in as an LP and anchored Gobi's ASEAN platform in KL.
