Jeffrey Kontulis came to venture investing through an unusual mix of experience—starting in telecom and media banking at Credit Suisse, helping launch Intrepid Financial Partners, and leading product and strategy at the fintech company PaymentWorks—before working his way up at Augment Ventures from Venture Fellow to Principal. He often describes his approach through his lifelong interest in history and the entrepreneurs who reshaped it, and outside of work he was chosen in high school for an educational trip to Antarctica and has since made it a goal to visit all seven continents.
