Before joining SHAKTI, Jesse Haines spent 17 years at Google, where she founded the $1 billion Grow with Google program that trained more than 10 million people in digital skills, and she started her career as a high school English teacher and basketball coach—experiences she says still shape how she evaluates founders today. At SHAKTI she brought a strong brand and communications focus to venture investing, looks for large, everyday behaviors being reshaped by AI, and has a particular interest in physical AI: technology that moves, fixes, and interacts with the real world rather than staying limited to chatbots.
