Jonathan Lam is a general partner at Root and Shoot Ventures who built his own path as a founder before becoming an investor, having started and run companies like Peerfunder, a financing company for small businesses, and helped scale Localcoin into Canada's largest physical exchange with eight-figure annual revenue in just over a year. Today he continues that hands-on approach as a partner at Unity Investments, where he works on special-situations capital alongside his venture investing at Root and Shoot.
