Kumar is a founding member of Redback Networks who transitioned from building telecom infrastructure to venture investing, and now serves as both a General Partner at Elevate Capital and Chair of TiE Angels Silicon Valley. This dual role gives him access to both institutional VC resources and one of Silicon Valley's largest angel networks, while his Oregon-based fund allows him to connect non-Bay Area founders with Silicon Valley capital and mentorship.
