Laetitia Marcadé built her career across France, the UK, and Mexico—training at ESCP, studying at LSE, earning an MBA at EGADE Monterrey—before becoming a Principal at Dalus Capital, where she invests in Latin America while also sitting on the board of La French Tech Mexico as a voice for venture capital and climate tech. Before Dalus, she worked in growth and impact investing at Partech in Europe, and her public work today continues to focus on climate, health, and supporting women in leadership through initiatives like Women to Lead.
About their Fund
Dalus Capital, a Monterrey-based venture fund, goes beyond investing by organizing the Latam Climate Innovation Summit (which grew to 220 attendees and 70 startups), publishing a Climate Startup Radar that maps more than 400 climate startups, and co-hosting a Health Innovation Summit with FUNSALUD and TecSalud; its Fund III has a hard climate allocation, with the U.S. DFC committing 30% of the fund to climate-innovation deals, and it focuses on three areas—Inclusion, Climate Innovation, and Business Productivity—guided by a belief that Latin American climate solutions, like a portfolio company's solar-water-heating product built through 14 prototypes, need to be designed for the region's specific conditions rather than copied from Silicon Valley. The fund's track record includes an investment in Technisys that led to a unicorn exit via SoFi and was named AMEXCAP's Best Venture Capital Deal, a LAVCA Environmental Responsibility honorable mention for its investment in Algramo, and both founders, Rogelio de los Santos and Diego Serebrisky, being named to Bloomberg's list of the 500 most influential people in Latin America.
