Lou Forster built and led Cerberus's Japan office for 16 years before joining Green Visor Capital, and he focuses on the practical, behind-the-scenes infrastructure of financial technology rather than hype, having spoken publicly about skepticism toward Bitcoin as an investment and about the importance of systems like compliance tools and cloud migration. Outside of investing, he served as the 17th chair of Johns Hopkins' board of trustees, chaired its Finance committee for six years, co-founded the university's $250,000 President's Frontier Award in 2014, and funded a graduate fellowship supporting entrepreneurship training for scientists.
