Louise Warme trained as a medical doctor and researcher before building and growing a medtech startup from an early idea through to an exit, then moved into venture capital, where she now takes hands-on board roles at companies like Axithra and Capitainer and holds observer seats at Deepull and Zetta Genomics. That background, combined with a Clinical Innovations Fellowship at Karolinska Institutet and KTH, early research experience at Harvard and the University of Gothenburg, and deep knowledge of regulatory pathways, market access, and distribution, shapes her focus on diagnostics that shift care outside traditional settings, such as out-of-hospital sample collection and continuous health monitoring.
