Madhusmita Das started her career as a founding member of Piaggio's corporate venture effort in Italy, then went on to build her own startup, work in strategy at Ola Electric, and invest at Bessemer before joining Leo Capital, all on top of a background that mixes mechanical engineering, a master's in innovation, and an INSEAD MBA. She now splits her time between India and Europe helping portfolio companies scale across borders, focuses on AI and vertical software with a particular interest in physical AI, and was chosen by GITEX to host a roundtable on how European AI companies can grow globally while staying independent.
