Before moving into venture capital, Magnus taught himself machine learning while working at Natural Cycles, building deep-learning models on fertility data, and he later became known as an early backer of Lovable; his path also took him from founding a startup accelerator in Perth, Australia, to BCG in Australia and Switzerland, then into Swedish femtech before landing in Nordic venture. Outside of investing, he builds things like generative art and a project that turns weather into sound, runs a site called antirender.com, and gives 10% of his income to Effective Altruism-aligned charities through Giving What We Can.
