Fitz Gate Ventures is intentionally built around the Princeton ecosystem, with the majority of its capital invested into startups founded, managed, or owned by Princeton alumni, faculty, or students, and maintains formal institutional ties to Princeton through its GPs serving as Princeton lecturers and Keller Center eLab advisors. The fund operates as a bi-regional gateway between the New York and Texas ecosystems rather than the standard SF/NY axis, and has produced at least one unicorn from each of its first two funds despite being a relatively small early-stage firm with ~$70m AUM across three funds.
