Michael Dempsey is a former quarry and plant engineer who taught himself to build software systems in heavy industry environments before co-founding Ezidebit to solve cash-flow problems in his own childcare centers and scaling it into one of Australia's leading recurring-payments processors. He led Ezidebit as CEO through a A$300m trade sale to US-based Global Payments and now brings this founder-to-exit experience to his role as a Venture Partner at Tribe Global Ventures, where he actively supports portfolio companies as someone who has personally scaled headcount, systems, and compliance in a regulated payments business.
