Mythili Sankaran co-founded Neythri after years of being the only woman, and often the only woman of color, in research labs, product roles, boardrooms, and venture rooms, and she has spoken about deliberately joining the business conversations men had in the living room while women gathered in the kitchen at South Asian gatherings, which shaped her push to build spaces where South Asian women can talk openly about ambition, leadership, and money. Drawing on experience at IBM, AT&T Bell Labs, the U.S.-India Business Council, the American India Foundation, and as CEO of Koollage, she built Neythri from small living-room and backyard gatherings into a fund that keeps investment minimums low so first-time investors can join, while treating the LP network's hands-on expertise, not just its capital, as central to how the fund supports founders.
