Omar Darwazah's background spans Cairo, New York, London, Chicago, Montreal, and Paris, and before investing he spent a decade in corporate finance at OCI N.V. and ran his own food business, Premier Foods SAE, in Egypt; he now invests in companies across MENA and Africa, including Andela, BitOasis, Thndr, Ziina, and Halan. Beyond his work in venture, he has traveled to more than 100 countries as a photographer and has served as an executive producer on short films such as Baby Mine and Lab Rat.
