Ophelia Brown built Blossom Capital around a specific plan to back European founders who could later attract top U.S. investors, keeping her fund unusually small with about five investments a year, and before starting Blossom she helped bring in deals like Robinhood and Typeform. She also founded Ambitious Ladies in Tech in 2016, building a network of more than 150 senior mentors from companies like Airbnb and Google, and became one of the few solo-founded European VC brands to make the Midas List Europe just three years after launching her fund.
