Peter Arensman grew up as the son of a Dutch farmer and later returned to that heritage by earning a third degree in Agricultural Engineering at Wageningen University after building a successful business career, creating an unusually deep blend of agrarian roots and advanced ag-tech education for a VC investor. He twice started from scratch as an entrepreneur—including rebuilding at age 35 with no savings, house, or car—before moving into investing, which gives him a founder's perspective on risk and resilience that directly shaped how he created Future Food Fund.
