Shyam Penumaka has built his career across both operating and investing roles, having led engineering at a Silicon Valley startup, run delivery centers in India for major telecom operators, and worked in investment banking advising startups on equity raises and M&A before becoming a partner at Dallas Venture Capital, where his focus spans telecom, benefit administration, and banking in both North America and India. He splits his time between the US and India, holds an MBA from ISB Hyderabad, stays active as a mentor and speaker in Hyderabad's founder and student communities, and previously served as Hyderabad chapter president of Youth For Seva, where he led green and health projects with large multinational CSR teams.
