Before joining Canapi Ventures, Walker Forehand built a background in bank regulation and financial infrastructure through eight years at Promontory Financial Group and as chief investment officer at SpringHarbor, and he started his career painting methanol tanks before moving into fintech investing. At Canapi, he has personally led investments in companies like Alloy, Middesk, Built, Fireblocks, NeuroID, Blooma, and SmartSuite, and he joined Alloy's board after leading its Series B round.
