XTech Ventures is founded and led by serial VC/entrepreneur Shinichi Saijo, who built CyberAgent's venture arm across Japan and Asia, served as Executive Director/COO of CyberAgent HQ, co-founded WiL, and later became CEO of Excite Holdings and a director of the Japan Venture Capital Association. The fund operates its own accelerator program X-Gate with a VC-cohabiting share office xBridge-Yaesu directly in front of Tokyo Station where founders can live and work for up to six months rent-free, while being structurally paired with sister company XTech that manages non-VC private equity funds.
