FORWARD.one is one of the few European VCs built explicitly around hardware-first deeptech, investing only in industrial tech and deeptech with hardware or hardware-software angles while deploying up to 20% of their fund into single companies and following through from Seed to Series C/D. They operationalize their commercialization focus by training TU Delft engineering students using the same investment framework they use internally, positioning themselves as solving Europe's commercialization gap between technical university spinouts and scalable industrial businesses.
