Chris McCann is a Race Capital investor who was one of the very first angel investors in Solana when it was still called Loom and just a whitepaper, and he's also a National Geographic Nature Photographer of the Year who built his own Solana NFT project to understand the creator experience firsthand. He took an unconventional path into venture capital by co-founding Startup Digest and growing it to over 1 million subscribers before being hired at Greylock after a failed startup demo turned into a whiteboard session on building network infrastructure for the firm.
