Danica Marsden built quantum computers at D-Wave and Photonic before writing the Bank of Canada's first Quantum Strategy and co-authoring research on using quantum methods to optimize payment-system liquidity in gross-settlement systems like Lynx. She also helped shape the Bank for International Settlements' roadmap for preparing the global financial system for the shift to quantum computing, giving her a rare combination of hands-on quantum physics experience and direct work on how central banks and financial infrastructure should get ready for it.
