Before Google, he developed SpeechBot, the first commercial audio search engine, and his career has spanned Bell Labs, a Fulbright-funded PhD at Carnegie Mellon, and major contributions to Google Search by Voice, YouTube captioning, and multilingual and contextual speech recognition.
