Dave Gravano has spent 17 years in venture lending across both the U.S. and Europe, working at firms like Silicon Valley Bank, Fortress Investment Group, and GATX in both the U.S. and London, and he focuses on deeply understanding a company's business model and team rather than just following what other investors do. He puts a lot of weight on how founders act during hard times and how openly they communicate, which seems to be why many entrepreneurs choose to work with him again when they start new companies.
