Before joining IKJ Capital, Fabiana Barruffini worked as a Director in Merrill Lynch's investment banking division and later founded MOM, Brazil's first natural pet shop, before going on to invest in and manage more than 25 early-stage healthcare and biotech startups across Latin America, the US, and Europe. That combination of finance, hands-on operating experience, and international healthcare investing has earned her a spot on LAVCA's Top Women Investors in Latin America list in both 2024 and 2025.
