Jim Quismorio brings an unusually cross-border background to Southeast Asia seed investing, having studied business and Asian Studies at Wharton and economics at Waseda, spent nearly two decades at Lehman Brothers rising to Managing Director over Asia corporate M&A and strategy—including a role in closing the 2008 sale of Lehman's international businesses to Nomura—and later co-founded Alto Partners as a family office with former TPG, KKR, and Northstar executives before joining Forge Ventures as Partner and Investment Committee Member. Alongside his finance career, he has spent years in hands-on nonprofit and philanthropic work across Japan, Hong Kong, China, Singapore, and India, including leadership at the Lehman Brothers Foundation.
