Alpine Space Ventures is founded and led by senior SpaceX alumni including cofounder Bulent Altan who built SpaceX's avionics organization and served as VP over Falcon, Dragon and early Starlink, with their LP base including more than 20 early SpaceX employees, effectively turning the fund into a capital plus SpaceX-operator network hybrid. They focus exclusively on tangible space industrial backbone technologies like components, satellite platforms, and propulsion that deliver 10x performance improvements, while being deeply embedded with European and NATO strategic space initiatives through backing from the European Investment Fund, NATO Innovation Fund, and membership in defense networks like EDIN and NATO SPACENET.
