Marco Prunotto is a venture investor at Medicxi who previously created and led Roche's phenotypic drug discovery unit and nephrology discovery team, and served as Global Head of Technology and Translational Research at Roche Pharma, giving him hands-on experience running the bench-to-bedside interface rather than only evaluating it from the outside. He also serves as a Full Professor at the University of Geneva's School of Pharmaceutical Sciences while investing, and is a scientific organizer of the Keystone Symposia conference on fibrosis and a featured speaker in McGill's D2R Investor Series where he teaches scientists how VCs evaluate translational value.
