Oren Etzioni was Harvard's first computer science graduate and has spent decades building AI systems, from helping create the web's first comparison-shopping agent and one of its earliest meta-search engines to pioneering machine reading and open information extraction, work reflected in over 200 papers and roughly 50,000 citations. He later built AI2 for more than nine years, helped spin out over 20 companies through the AI2 Incubator, and founded TrueMedia.org to fight political deepfakes.
