Sarah Nolet came into agtech sideways—after an accidental gap year on a farm in Argentina—and now runs Tenacious Ventures while hosting AgTech…So What?, a podcast with over 150 episodes, and she pushes people to look past on-farm gadgets to the middle of the supply chain and to see slow farmer adoption as a business-model problem rather than a generational one. Off the investing side, she's a lifelong competitive athlete—an All-American soccer player at Tufts who also competed in track and later played beach volleyball on Australia's national tour—and she's known for helping build Australia's early-stage agtech ecosystem through her earlier venture, AgThentic, and for arguing that strong agtech founders can come from farming, entomology, aerospace, or software just as easily as from a traditional ag background.
