Trung Hoang joined DFJ VinaCapital in 2006, one of Vietnam's first homegrown venture funds, and built a long-term track record there of 3.7x MOIC and 17.2% IRR, including an exit that became one of the most successful IPOs on Vietnam's stock exchange, while also serving as CEO of Quang Dung Group, parent company of Green Feed, and sitting on boards of startups that expanded regionally and later went public locally with returns reported above 100x. He also applies a data and logistics lens to traditional sectors like agriculture, as seen in his investment in Koina, where he pointed to supply-chain improvements and farmer productivity as key ways to create value in what he sees as the backbone of Vietnam's economy.
