Elana Berkowitz is co-founder and managing partner of Springbank Collective who brings an uncommon combination of frontier-tech family office experience from Eric Schmidt's office and Obama administration technology policy background from the State Department. She positions care infrastructure as a trillion-dollar economic opportunity on par with the green transition and uses a highly thesis-driven approach around career, care, and consumer themes that allows founders to skip explaining basic problem spaces because she already knows them in depth.
About their Fund
Springbank Collective invests in mission critical infrastructure that powers how we work, live, and care, explicitly reframing care, housing, work, and community systems as core economic infrastructure and positioning this as a multi-trillion-dollar GDP unlock by backing infrastructure that helps women and working families become more economically resilient. Before raising their debut institutional fund, the three founders self-funded more than 20 angel deals and then ran carry-only SPVs across another 8-10 deals specifically to prove they could generate returns at the earliest stages, while building a structured network of 100+ operators, family offices, and cross-sector leaders who can co-invest and provide functional support alongside formal partnerships with policy organizations to influence the regulatory environment around care and work.
