Fatima Husain moved from India to study biology and public health at Yale before helping launch and scale Airbnb's East Coast business, where she focused on the harder side of the marketplace—convincing people to open their homes to strangers—while also navigating Airbnb's early regulatory fights with New York. At Comcast Ventures, she co-managed the Catalyst Fund for Black, Latinx, and female founders and invested across healthcare and marketplaces, drawing on both her public health training and her operating experience to back founders as someone who had lived through hypergrowth herself.
