Jamil M. Beg built his career as an operator before becoming an investor, working in business development, strategy, medical affairs, and health economics at Sage Therapeutics, and he has since been credited with helping found or build companies like Nido Biosciences and several stealth biotech startups, working across more than twenty private financings, seven public offerings, and three M&A deals. His path started at Cambridge Pharma Consultancy focused on pricing and market access, continued through degrees in bioengineering and biotechnology from Penn and a dual-focus MBA from Wharton, where he now guest lectures, and shows up today at Kinaset, where he's known both as a founding investor and as a board observer who stays close to the companies he backs.
