Laura Moreno Lucas immigrated from Guadalajara to the U.S. at age seven without speaking English, later led Nasdaq IPOs including Airbnb, Lyft, and Beyond Meat, and built and exited her own startup, Ladada, before discovering while working at Nasdaq that fewer than 20 women—and only one Latina—had ever taken a company public, a moment that shaped her mission to back underrepresented founders.
