Paul Rogers is a venture partner at Next Coast Ventures who has also served as a hands-on technical leader at several Austin companies, including CTO roles at EquipmentShare, RetailMeNot, and Namely, plus opening Google's Austin office in 2008 and an early engineering role at Bazaarvoice. He was already advising RetailMeNot before becoming its CTO, reflecting a pattern of being brought in for serious engineering leadership during key growth periods rather than just founding or funding companies.
